Tina Jenkins serves as President of Middle Creek PTA and is President-Elect of the West Virginia PTA Board of Managers. She first became involved with PTA to support her children’s school and connect with other families. Her focus continues to be on building inclusive communities, strengthening local units, and creating a welcoming space for all families.
With a professional background in technology, Tina brings a passion for using digital tools to streamline routine PTA tasks—helping to free up volunteers so they can focus on the parts of PTA that matter most to them. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from Salem-Teikyo University, graduating magna cum laude. Tina spent over a decade as an IT Specialist at Percheron, LLC, where she supported more than 1,000 users and led projects involving custom database development, helpdesk systems, and network infrastructure. She also held roles at Salem International University as both Data Center Supervisor and Systems Specialist, where she provided campus-wide IT support and training. In addition to her PTA service, Tina currently mentors with Ohio Valley YoungLives, where she also serves as Lyfepact Coordinator—helping support teen moms through mentorship, connection, and resources.
Tina lives in Valley Grove, West Virginia, with her husband Matt. They have two daughters, ages 10 and 29. Outside of her PTA work, Tina finds stress relief in spending time with her horse, Zero, and taking pottery classes. She enjoys pottery as a creative outlet and a way to unwind from the daily grind. Through her work with PTA and beyond, Tina is committed to leaving each unit and program stronger, more connected, and better equipped to serve the families and communities they support.
